About Adelle

Hi! I’m Adelle, a clinical psychologist located in Ulverstone, Tasmania. I enjoy supporting people in a variety of ways, including diagnostic assessments, resources, and mentoring/supervision. I prefer person-centred approaches - it is important to me that you feel safe, heard, and accepted. I opened Nurture Clinical Psychology in 2017 so that people could visit a warm, welcoming environment that feels more like a home than a clinic. While I enjoy supporting people of all ages, I have a several special interest in Autism and ADHD. I feel very strongly about the need to support autistic people and ADHD-ers using non-pathologising, neurodiversity-affirming approaches. I have been working in Autism and ADHD since becoming a psychologist in 2007. I am experienced in assessment and diagnosis, including assessing girls and women who may have had difficulty getting their characteristics recognised and understood.
